Pet Portraits - How can you not love them?

While I was waiting for my client to get ready for her headshot session I was hanging out with her little dog. This little poser was just hanging out on the couch seeming to say -- Hey, what about me? I'm ready for my close up Mr. Deville. So, I took a few puppy portraits of her too.

Contemporary Business Headshots

Bruce visited Las Vegas recently and needed to get some new headshots for his business marketing and online networking. Bruce was a lot of fun to work with and I think we captured his personality.

Las Vegas Body Painting Documentary

I was hired to shoot some stills during the taping of a body painting documentary project here in Las Vegas the other day. As the video crew captured footage for a Canadian Fashion TV show HOTBOX Salon owner David Bangham and an artist from Ultra Violet Extreme Performance transformed Stephanie into a fashion runway model. An 8.8.08 Vegas Wedding at eight!

I had the pleasure of having fun with Jennifer and Doug yesterday who tied the knot at a little white wedding chapel in Las Vegas yesterday on 8.8.08. After running around the streets of Vegas being crazy and taking some fun pictures we made it to the chapel which was jam packed and at the strike of 8 o clock they were married while their friends and family watched the 8 minute long ceremony being streamed over the internet.

After tying the knot at the Little Church of the West Wedding Chapel we visited the Vegas sign and went out to Red Rock Canyon.

Black Enterprise Magazine Editorial

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this cool basketball themed barber shop called Classic Cuts for Black Enterprise Magazine.

Tito and the team were a lot of fun to work with and it was a blast just watching the kids play some hoops.

If you decide to join in the game you better watch that ball -- if it hits a chair or patron you have to do push ups in the middle of the court.

Flashes of Hope Update

As you may know I work with Flashes of Hope providing portraits to kids with Cancer. Here's some news I just got from the LV Chapter Director.

"In Las Vegas, and multiple other cities around the nation, mini photo shoots are set up at Sunrise Children’s Hospital-Pediatric Oncology Unit, The Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases, and Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada-Pediatric Division every other month. The children are given the opportunity to be photographed by themselves, with their families, roommate, favorite nurse and/or doctor, and even their best friend(s). The photo shoots are a ton of fun and bring some beautiful smiles during what is the most difficult and challenging time in their life.

The Photographers and Stylists are some of the best in the business and they donate their time and talents without any hesitation. Their generosity and compassion speaks volumes to their character. The staff at NCCF and Flashes of Hope are honored to be working such amazing and talented individuals and as the Las Vegas Chapter Director I am so thrilled to announce that People Magazine has completed their spread/piece on Flashes of Hope! It is set to print in the next issue to hit newsstands on March 28th! This is very exciting news for Flashes of Hope and we hope all of you will pick up a copy and see first hand the beauty, significance, and meaning these photos have for so many. "

This past week I hosted a big photo shoot for Alumni of my school the Hallmark Institute of Photography.

Here's a group shot of some of the HIPsters, models and stylists that gathered in Las Vegas for the old western town shoot out at Bonnie Springs.



We had a great time!

I woke up at 6:30am to the sound of rain and many phone calls from models asking are we still shooting? I told them for sure, Hallmark grads are not afraid of a little rain.

At 10am, about 50 people gathered, the clouds provided some beautiful soft light and we proceeded to take over the town.

A great time was had by all!

Pin-Up Girls!

I had fun working with this crazy group of girls from Atlanta today.

They're here in Vegas for the weekend having a little fun and celebrating Lisa's birthday.

They wanted to do some Pin-Up Girl style photos.

On Location Family Portraits

Many of my clients are visiting Las Vegas for a special occasion and call me for some nice portraits done on location around town. Here's one of many I did for a Mark & Linda who were celebrating their 25th anniversary.



"My wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary December 2007 in Las Vegas and we were blessed to have Wayne there to capture our magical moments together. We started our celebration in the morning with Wayne doing a photo session. We were not sure what to expect since this was our first portrait together. Our nervousness did not last long.
